Terms and Conditions


1.  A request for a song may be refused if:

  

it contains any offensive words

it contains anything which could be interpreted discriminatory or offensive for any other reasons

if the venue is not licensed for copyrighted entertainment as required by the Performing Rights Society


2.  When a booking is made, a deposit of £25 or 20% of the total price, whichever is greater, will be payable.


3.  Deposits must be made in advance for performance, for which an invoice will be

  issued.  Full balance must be paid within 14 days of event.


4.  Payment can be made via PayPal or cash, but cheques will also be acceptable .


5.  The fee of £50 per hour, plus a fixed fee, will include expenses;

  

travel  expenses

my time

accommodation and sustenance  (B & B or Hotel)


It does not include;


extra music

any accompanists

any required additional licenses


6.  A dressing-room must be provided unless a hotel room/cloakroom is set aside for that

  purpose (depending on the event.).


7.  I have zero tolerance to abusive behaviour of any kind.  If this arises, deposit will not be refunded and there will be no performance.


8.  If the booking is cancelled with at least 60 days notice, deposit will be refunded, otherwise it will only be refunded at our discretion.


9.  The earliest I will be taking bookings is six months prior to Weddings, Christenings, Birthdays and Anniversaries. I will only stand in for someone else in an emergency, but last minute arrangements require at least a weeks notice, unless the songs requested are ones that I can sing without rehearsal.


10.  Any request for a song that is not on my list and I haven’t got the music for it, will

  require extra rehearsing and preparation.  Depending on the event, the music should

  be obtained and given to me at least four months prior to performance.  


11.  In the event of cancellation of arrangement on my part;


I am double-booked on that particular day.

I cannot perform for Medical Reasons.


 The deposit will be refunded in these circumstances.


12.  If I do have to cancel and a replacement cannot be found in time, then providing the

venue is licensed to play recorded music, I shall grant permission for my performance disk to be used.  However, please note that this is the only instance when it may be employed.


13.  I shall normally leave venue once my performance is over.
